A Walk Home

I walked out of school during the first week of classes at Western Technical College, and smiled as the cool breeze combed through my hair. I lifted my eyes toward the sky to find nothing but a baby blue sky speckled with dancing white clouds. The day seemed to be rejoicing in itself.
On a regular day, I would get a ride back to my house, but I could not ignore the beauty that surrounded me on every side. I wanted nothing more than to embrace this day.
I was on a walk with nature; and for the first time in a long time, I heard the birds sing beautiful songs. I saw the lush trees shake their branches in authority, and I felt the helpless crunch of a fallen leaf beneath my foot. The sensations were like nothing I've felt before. So distinctive, so pure. Why have I succumbed to my own obsession with the industrial life of society? I consider my actions a tragedy after seeing all the beauty I have so passively ignored.

"Lets throw it into space!"

Your idea is both refreshingly humurous and yet oddly efficient... I suppose that if the Universe keeps expanding, there would always be room... Maybe Britney Spears and Lindsey Lohan could join it? Then again, it could all also combine to form a comet that smashes the Earth... talk to NASA

Haha talk to NASA when Britney Spears and Linsey Lohan combine to form a comet? Okay.

You have a point. The atmosphere could clean most of it up (and it would probably be odor free! Bonus points!), but I would still feel a little safer with a giant laser cannon to protect us. Maybe the French would give us the Eiffel Tower? It's not like they are using it, and everyone knows that they wouldn't dream of putting up a fight. We should work at a research facility, and put our great ideas to work! Good luck with your paper.
